Illusions

Illusions are everywhere. Things don't look as they seem as we pass through or interact with them. Illusions are not a crime or a flaw but a patch in this tapestry called reality. Illusions could be ideas, established patterns of doing things, theories etc. Where it gets fatal is when we encounter illusions and we don't check whether they are real or not. Testing the illusions around us to see if they are true or false is essential to the human experience. It dictates whether we as individuals or society can move forward or backwards. Illusion can be hard to accept for some things, ideas, patterns, theories that are deeply wedded to a social identity that we need to display to get a sense of validation or purpose. This sounds and looks easy but are there illusions that we ignore because we fear that if they were false, our own reality breaks completely or have we tested everything internally to avoid inner conflict to build a strong foundation for years to come. Blind!
