Pattern recognition
We are pattern recognition machines. We see things and how they connect in various interesting ways. This helps us plan and understand various situations in terms of short-term and long-term perspectives. This skill can be lacking in most of us because we don't tend to use it often due to not being exposed to those situations. These situations can be described as things that look irrelevant but can play a pivotal role in your decision process. Situations regarding how certain items are arranged, the subtle choices someone makes when they clothe themselves, or how a certain person interacts with other people. It can be overwhelming but worthwhile.
Breaks help the creative process.
Breaks from long periods of work help in resting your body and mind. It is also vital in the idea-creation process. Breaks can make your mind focus on other things besides the work and this brings out ideas or perspectives that are new to you. Breaks should be taken to let the brain and body rest to adapt to the knowledge or skills that have been accumulated and move on from there.
