Do Good Because It Is Good
Doing good should be based on doing what is right at the right time. This means that you do good to people for the virtue of being good. This means giving without expecting something in return. Helping people genuinely without a sense of entitlement to favours in the future and public recognition. But what if I am not good? Then, you either develop being good or be the opposite of good which is bad. This seems harsh but it's better to be true to yourself and your character.
Get Lost In It
Get lost in what you do—getting lost means enjoying what you do even if it feels hard or boring etc. Being one with something requires recognizing the things that make that thing valuable or unique. You have to focus on those areas to see the bigger picture when performing your daily tasks or goals and also adapting to changes along the way.
