Embrace the calm
Sometimes in our desire to be very efficient in this fast-paced world, we don't take a deep breath to implement some things. Being calm when performing certain tasks brings a sense of clarity and gives you perspective on the tasks you want to accomplish. It also makes you make more informed decisions in your daily lives with a low risk of error because there is time to think and go through the necessary scenarios that the situation entails. Calm means slow and sometimes slow is necessary to achieve excellence.
Avoid the noise.
Everyone has heard about AI. If you haven't, you must be living under a rock. Even my grandma heard of it. When I go online to read something about it, the conclusion is it will either kill us or save us from our impending doom. Getting opinions because people have their own scenarios regarding what will happen or change in our world due to this technology. Some fear that most jobs will be wiped which will cause a crisis, others worry that it will grow autonomous and it's Terminator 2 all over again (without the cool robots). I believe that this technology can be used to enhance our daily lives and has huge applications in every industry around the globe. How do I get this perspective? By actually reading how the technology works(not an expert by the way) determine for myself what the real story is. The lesson here is to take our time and research on topics that tend to get complicated and form our perspectives.
