You are probably thinking, what the heck is a Schizo Moment. This is a term I created to describe crazy or irrational moments I have seen from individuals who are at the top of their fields (Especially Creatives) or are just plain crazy but with a little bit of sanity. A Schizo Moment can be defined when there is a display of pure irrationality with respect to reality. Such moments include when Steve Jobs tells the Apple team to make a seemingly impossible product or when your boss tells you to make a youtube clone in two weeks etc. These situations are basically projections of individual visions on an organized or singular group to push them over the edge to see if reality can be distorted for their own benefit.
Schizo Moments look crazy at first glance but without these moments humanity will still be stuck in the cave. Schizo moments push us to great accomplishments like the Pyramids, Space Exploration, The Internet, Crypto and so on. They force us to believe that we can transcend reality with imagination and will but it also has downsides.
Schizo Moments gives humanity a false sense of importance and pride. It can unplug you from reality and make you lose belief in objective reality and dabble in relativity. Encouraging us to create our insular worlds in which our theories are law but divorced from reality and truth. Think of Schizo Moments as a tool to accomplish great things or to undergo great refinement of your skills but do not be too engorged in its transcendence that you believe in your own folly.
